Wahsatchmo’s Staggeringly Accurate Anime Reviews in Around 180 Characters – Pilot

Posted on April 5, 2024

Character limits on Social Galactic be darned! It is our pleasure to feature Wahsatchmo’s succinct reviews, demonstrating that brevity is the soul of wit.

Note that the #Anime links will only work with a Social Galactic account.

Wahsatchmo’s Staggeringly Accurate Anime Reviews in Around 180 Characters – Pilot

The Unwanted Undead Adventurer (#Anime Review):

After becoming dragon dung, perpetual Lvl1 adventurer finds the only thing standing in the way of his progress was life itself.

7.9

Dungeon Meshi (#Anime Review):

To rescue his sister from a dragon’s belly, a broke warrior convinces his party to eat their way back through the dungeon’s monsters.

Fun. 7.7/10

Metallic Rouge (#Anime Review):

Not the newest member of Baby Metal, but likes her choco.
Mecha Kamen Rider with a drug backstory.

Great animation, cliche story so far. 7.5/10

Butareba (#Anime Review):

Garbage human is reincarnated as a pig in a strange world and accompanies a mysterious girl on her Logan’s Run.

Boring characters. 5/10

Under Ninja (#Anime Review):

All the world’s Japan, and all the men and women merely ninjas.

Starts oddly at first. Gets much better after episode 2.

7.96/10

The Apothecary Diaries (#Anime Review):

Laughs ensue after apothecary Maomao is kidnapped and forced into servitude for one of the emperor’s concubines.

Indentured Comedy! 8/10

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (#Anime Review):

The end of a journey of a lifetime is merely a segue to the next one for a nigh immortal elf.

Wonderous. Near perfect. 9.5/10

UPDATE: Revised rating: 11/10. No other show gets the nature of demons exactly right like Frieren.

My Happy Marriage (#Anime Review):

Japanese Cinderella’s arranged marriage to a princely Ghostbuster gives meaning and challenges to her life.

Quality animation and music. 7.5/10

Reborn as a Vending Machine, Now I Wander the Dungeon (#Anime Review):

Dungeons and Dispenser. Less “wander” and more “is carried.”

Spoiler: nothing gross is vended.

Silly. 7/10

Tokyo Revengers (#Anime Review):

Crybaby hero leaps back in time to save his true love from his former gang only to make things worse.

Slow pacing yet watchable. 7.5/10
