Posted on April 27, 2024

Character limits on Social Galactic be darned! It is our pleasure to feature Wahsatchmo’s succinct reviews, demonstrating that brevity is the soul of wit.

Note that the #Anime links will only work with a Social Galactic account.

Wahsatchmo’s Staggeringly Accurate Anime Reviews in Around 180 Characters – Part 4

Chainsaw Man (#Anime Review):

Denji assimilates his pet demon chainsaw puppy in order to pursue his dreams of a Denny’s grand slam breakfast and boobs.

Jujutsu Kaisen-type fun. VIOLENT

8.5/10

Spy x Family (#Anime Review):

Super spy, deadly yet naïve assassin, and dimwitted telepath become a fake family to save the world.

S2: Now with clairvoyant dog!

Sweet and fun.

8/10

Akiba Maid War (#Anime Review):

Moe moe kyuun kaboom.

Very wrong and very watchable.

425 bloody bunny maid corpses / 500

Golden Kamuy (#Anime Review):

Immortal Sugimoto travels through 1900’s Hokkaido where the Ainu and the author’s bizarre sense of humor lurk around every fundoshi.

4 hina hina/5

Shadows House (#Anime Review):

What appeared to be a clever way to save on animating dialog and facial expressions turns out to be a pretty good mystery series.

8 soot boogers/10

Classroom of the Elite S2 (#Anime Review):

The Idiot’s Guide to Machiavellianism.

Dull lead char and post hoc rationalizations.

3 “I Meant to Do That!” ‘s out of 10

Made in Abyss (#Anime Review):

Very well executed, if you want to see the Rape of Nanking whimsically animated.

Grotesque, cruel, subversive, possibly evil.

Not recommended.

0/10

Overlord IV (#Anime Review):

Season 4 of middle-manager-turned-elder-lich, murdering millions but with an eye towards quality HR management.

If you liked S1 – S3, you’ll like S4.

7/10

The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting (#Anime Review):

Japanese Mafia Bunny Drop.

A reliably sweet, good-hearted show.

4 Bunnies out of 5 Squinty-Eyed Delinquents
